Unlock the potential of your business.
As we move into the New Year we should take some time out to reflect on the past
year and readjust our targets for the New Year. Reflection is a wise business
practice.
Looking back can give us an opportunity to look into ways we can improve our
performance in many areas of the business and our personal life. You need to ask
yourself what worked and what did not work.
Set new goals for 2010 and write them down. Build them into your strategic plan
(Roadmap) for 2010 and constantly review them during the year.
The BEC has done just that and is looking at some exciting new opportunities
and offerings for the business sector across the Hunter. We have many things planned.
The first major event of 2010 will be a Business Expo in Muswellbrook in conjunction
with the Muswellbrook Race Club on the 19th of March.
The second big event will be the Annual BEC dinner and launch of the 2010 "Hunter
Region Business Excellence Awards". This will be a gala event at the Cessnock
Performing Arts Centre on the 30th of April, with Justin Herald as the keynote
speaker.
We will also launch our first Building and Enterprise Culture workshop series
on Tuesday the 9th of February. For more information on this Business Coaching
